I had several PST backup files stored from an old office system and recently needed to check them for financial correspondence, but the computer available at that time didn’t include Outlook installation. Instead of delaying the task, I downloaded
SysInfo PST File Viewer after seeing that it works as a standalone mailbox reader. The tool starts quickly and allows direct loading of PST files from any drive, which saved me a lot of setup time. During scanning it automatically detects mailbox components and lists them in a structured tree view, making it extremely easy to browse through folders. I particularly liked that it supports both old ANSI PST files and modern Unicode archives, so compatibility was never an issue. It also safely loads slightly corrupted PSTs using different scan modes, which prevents data loss worries. Reading emails and verifying attachments felt just like using an email client, but without configuration hassle. Thanks to this smooth approach, I could comfortably
open PST file without Outlook and finish my document verification work on time.
